Czech course - Beginner 1 (level A1, part 1)
Our Beginner 1 Czech course is for students with no (or minimal) prior knowledge of the Czech language.
Course description
- lessons focus on the practical use of Czech in ordinary, daily situations
- focus on practicing correct pronunciation of Czech sounds, speaking, writing, reading, and listening
This course will teach you
- to introduce yourself and speak about abilities and interests
- to describe yourself and your family
- to understand time expressions (time, dates, days, months, seasons of the year, years, ages)
- to count from 0 to 10 000
- to express your needs to people around you in simple sentences and phrases, and to understand people in common situations
- to understand directories and informational signs
- to order food and drinks in restaurants, and communicate in shops
- to communicate in the past tense
In terms of grammar you will learn to use
- grammatical gender
- pronouns (personal, demonstrative, and possessive)
- present tense and its negative forms
- past tense and its negative forms

Czech course - Beginner 2 (level A1, part 2)
Our Beginner 2 Czech course is for students who passed the Beginner 1 course, or those who can use grammatical gender, conjugation in the present and past tenses, the accusative singular; very limited vocabulary, e.g. able to introduce themselves, order food and drinks in restaurants etc.; able to communicate using very simple sentences in the present and past tenses.

- focus on practicing correct pronunciation of Czech sounds, speaking, writing, reading, and listening
This course will teach you
- to describe where and how you live, the appearance of your house, activities at home
- to speak about your holiday, days/months/seasons
- how to make a reservation (e.g. hotel, trip) and talk about travelling
- to know the parts of the human body
- to communicate at the doctor’s (e.g. to describe your health problems in simple sentences)
- to ask for and give directions
- to use the future tense

Our Pre-intermediate 1 Czech course is for students who passed the Beginner 2 course, or those with a basic knowledge of Czech (e.g. simple sentences in the present, past and future tenses for everyday situations, active knowledge of perfect and imperfect verbs).

Our Pre-intermediate 2 Czech course is for students who passed the Pre-intermediate 1 course, or those with knowledge of Czech (present, past and future tenses for everyday situations, adverb formation, comparative and superlative of adjectives, conditionals and conditional clauses, dative, instrumental and local cases).

Our Intermediate 1 Czech course is for students who passed the Pre-Intermediate 2 course, or those with a good knowledge of Czech; students can use declination, tenses, simple conditionals, imperatives, and understand the use of perfect and imperfect verbs.

Our Intermediate 2 Czech course is for students who have passed the Intermediate 1 course, or for those students with a good knowledge of Czech. They are able to use all the cases of substantives, adjectives, and pronouns in singular.

This Czech course is for students with excellent knowledge of Czech language, and for those students who have passed the Upper-intermediate 1 course.
